Weekly Photo Challenge: Contrast

Β Seasons Change

Windswept and frigid.

Lonely, beautiful in frozen solitude with just one other sharing the alpine majesty.

Only the winter wind breaks the silence.

Clouds fill the sky over sun warmed summits.

Trails come alive with mountain adventurers.

Seasons change, the mountains remain.

  1. You’ve made it πŸ™‚ How does summer compare to winter? I bet it makes hikes easier πŸ™‚ I like the winter one a bit more cause of the sunrise sky and all the textures you captured. Beautiful, Jeff πŸ™‚

    • Thank you Paula. Honestly, the winter hiking is much easier. All of the rocks and roots that you normally have to deal with are all covered with snow, making walking over them much, much easier. Of course, 40 mile per hour winds when it’s below zero are a little harder to deal with than when it’s in the 70’s, but I have clothes for that. πŸ˜€
