Dedicated to Valentina. She asked to see more abstract images, and I’m happy to oblige. Enjoy!

Nice & colorful collection Jeff. Didn’t expect to see abstracts, but it’s always good to try out new things.

Thanks Cardinal. They’re something new that I’ve been thinking about trying lately. That I have a potential client looking for nature themed abstracts finally lit the fire to get me going.

Impressionism at its finest…these are just incredible. They are paintings with light–just stunning. Just totally stunning. I’m not sure which one I like best. You need to have a gallery show, Jeff. They are so gorgeous!

These are beyond words, Jeff. Absolutely breathtaking.

Thanks Belen. kind of fun to make too. Lots of trial and error to get the ones made with camera motion, and a lot of funny looks when my friend and I were the only ones pointing our cameras at the water instead of the beautifully colored mountainsides.

Jeff, thank you for the dedication. I posted them on my Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/ValentinaInteriors
It’s hard to believe the images are photographs and not paintings. You succeeded well.

Thank you Valentina! I’m forever in your debt for showing such an interest in my work. Rest assured, if there is ever an opportunity to return the favor, I will without hesitation.

I do it with pleasure Jeff. Your work is valuable and needs to be shown.

Beautiful photographs, Jeff. The colors are incredible. The “Colors in the Waves” photograph reminds me of that similar photo that we saw in the coffee shop in North Conway that was framed and for sale on the wall (unfortunately I forgot the professional’s name). What exposure did you use to get that look to the water in that photo?

Thanks Nate! That was Jerry Monkman’s work. His image is was one of several sources of inspiration to make some photos like this. It’s liberating not having to worry about everything being in focus too
Of course you still need to worry about all the other pesky things like composition, light, etc…

Well done indeed!!!!

I went into the mountains the other day to photograph some fall colors and I think I did an OK job. Then I see your work and I think, I should really stick to photographing people!
You certainly have an eye for nature! Keep up the good work, I love Fall!!!

Thank you Stephanie! I’d love to see the results f your trip sometime. I’ve seen some of your landscape work, and I bet you did more than OK
I will also second the “I Love Fal!!” THE best time of year!

Definitely a blurring of the photo to painting boundary, and I love it. For me, autumn is about the color and these really served to demonstrate those hues. Excellent and wonderfully creative, Jeff.

Thank you Brandon. I’ve been wanting to try my hand at these types of photos for a while now. It took a potential client looking for abstract images with a nature theme to finally light the fire. I’m having a ball doing it too.
