Weekly Photo Challenge: Every Day Life
My Every Day Life.

Part of my every day life, the most important part, my daughter Nicole.
I’ve made several photographs of the Cape Neddick (Nubble) Lighthouse in York, Maine.( Along with every other person who has ever set foot in the state of Maine
). I’ll never make a better one than this. Nicole and her iPhone, shooting the waves. She is my every day life.

Great shot!. Like your signature. You must be a doctor.

Thanks Cris. If you consider “operating” on peoples cars in my real job being a Dr., then you may call me Jeff The Car Doctor

Ha ha! Cool. But I was speaking more of your very flowery but illegible signature.
(No offense intended.)
September 15, 2012 at 10:06 am
I knew that
Its the only part of my handwriting I like too, so why not make it my watermark!
September 15, 2012 at 11:50 am
You might even make it your trademark!
September 15, 2012 at 2:36 pm
It is the logo I use on my website, so that’s a pretty good idea.

Love this photograph! Good job teaching her photography young…
September 14, 2012 at 10:41 pm
Thanks Karina. She has her moments, she definitely had my artistic side that’s for sure.
September 15, 2012 at 7:09 am
Nicole looks very interested.
September 15, 2012 at 1:50 am
When ever she is doing anything artistic, usually painting or drawing, she is extremely focused, no pun intended.
September 15, 2012 at 7:10 am
Lovely girl, Jeff, good job.
September 15, 2012 at 12:54 pm
Great photo of a nice place. I love the ocean.
September 15, 2012 at 3:52 am
Thank you Cardinal. If you ever want to see more of this place just google “nubble light.” It is supposedly one of, if not the most photographed lighthouses in the U.S.
September 15, 2012 at 7:13 am
I’d rather see your photos of it. Do you have post(s) with more pictures from this lighthouse?

Awww, Daddy’s little girl
, and she likes her camera just like her Daddy
. Great composition Jeff… perfect thirds and perfect HDR!
September 15, 2012 at 5:09 am
Thank you Paula! The composition was pure dumb luck as far as my daughter was concerned. She simply walked into the frame after I had already set up. Fortunately I was aware enough to click the shutter when I did. No sooner had I made this shot and she turned and walked away. And lastly, not HDR one exposure, finished in Color Efex Pro 4, as usual.
September 15, 2012 at 7:16 am
Ah, not a HDR, in time I will learn to recognise them
. Sorry I forgot to like this first time, but I did leave the stars
September 15, 2012 at 7:18 am
Well I hope that it is unrecognizable in most cases. Rarely does the over the top look appeal to me in a landscape.
No stars?! How dare you
September 15, 2012 at 7:44 am
Did you listen to me? I said I had starred it on my first visit – go and get your coffee – PRONTO!!

Thank you very much. I love living in New Hampshire! We have the mountains a short drive in one direction, and the seacoast in the other. And with fall almost upon us, the foliage can’t be beat.

Great one, Jeff and framed perfectly. I also love bringing the kiddo with me when I can and really enjoy looking back through the pictures they grabbed.
September 27, 2012 at 9:13 am
I have to admit to this being pure dumb luck
As I set up and composed my shot, she walked right in front of me. I am so glad I had the focus set and the remote in my hand.
