Simple and beautiful. I love the loon on your header

Thank you very much on both counts. Living on a lake here in NH I kind of have a soft spot for loons.

Good detail, and I really like the vibrant greens.
I want spring to come back real bad!

Thanks. I can’t say I “want” spring to come, but our winter here in New England has been less than inspiring from a photography standpoint.

I’m glad you like it. No this was not with a macro. It was actually with the Tamron 17-50 f2.8.

Skunk cabbage? I’ve never heard of that. Does it smell like its namesake?
January 29, 2012 at 2:06 pm
Don’t get into the swamps much huh? As for the smell, not quite, but close. And only if you step on it or break a leaf.

I want to take a moment to thank you all so very much. For those of you that didn’t receive an individual reply and thanks, please don’t be offended. I am finding hard to keep up with all the praise, and I am truly humbled by all of your gracious comments.
